Frequently Asked Questions:

What are the COVID protocols?
BDE will be following all of BHS Auditorium's COVID policies during the performance. All audience members age 2 and older will be required to wear a mask at all times while indoors. At least 1 seat must be left in between parties to allow for distancing.

How do I view a seating chart of the auditorium?
To view an interactive seating chart, please view this site on a desktop computer, and click "Choose Your Own Seats". The interactive seating chart is not available if you are viewing the site on a smartphone or tablet/iPad. If you have any questions, please contact us at 847-382-6333.

Why is every other seat unavailable in some sections?
Some seats are marked unavailable to allow for distancing between parties. When you purchase every other seat in a row, your party will be able to sit next to each other and place the empty seats on the outside of your group. For further assistance, please call our box office at 847-382-6333.

Why are some sections sold out entirely?
These seats are only being sold over the phone (847-382-6333) or in person at Barrington Dance Academy. This allows us to seat more parties on the main level and leave one seat in between for distancing.

I can't find my confirmation email, will I still be able to access my tickets?
Yes, you may call 847-382-6333 and we will resend the confirmation email, or we can check you in and look up your seats via your first and last name at the door.

Where should I enter for the performance?
Enter Barrington High School off of Main Street, park in the main lot, walk up the steps to Entrance 1. (There is also a ramp for handicap entrance.) Walk inside and then down a hallway to the right, where you will find our "Nutcracker shop" and lobby festively set up for you to enjoy before the performance.

When should I arrive and how long is the performance?
We recommend that you arrive 10-20 minutes in advance. The performance runs just over two hours, including a 20 minute intermission.
